The top thread is 5/8" male, which is what most mics use. Shure, Sennheiser, even our own Yinyu headsets – they all screw right on. If you need 3/8" for European gear, we can swap that out. That's the thing about buying from a factory – we control the machining, so changes are easy.
Paint finish is powder coated, not that cheap spray-on stuff. We've had customers email us photos of rusted stands from other suppliers after a couple months in a humid room.
